STEP OUT OF YOUR FRONT DOOR and you need never walk along a road; you will join the network of paths and bridleways that cross National Trust land leading to Swanage, Dancing Ledge, the Jurassic Coast, Worth Matravers and beyond. In fact if you are very keen and carry on along the South West Coast Path you will eventually reach Minehead, some 600 miles later – just keep the sea on your left!
Despite our seclusion, get in the car or catch the bus from the end of the road and you will soon be able to sample all the advantages of a thriving tourist area: Corfe Castle, the Studland beaches, and the shops, restaurants and entertainment of Swanage and Bournemouth are within easy reach. |
